Everything you need to design the perfect code

Every code type and every design option is free to use, with no limit on how many codes you make. High-resolution downloads come with QRmint Pro.

Your logo in the center

Upload any image and place it inside your QR code. Error correction keeps the code perfectly scannable.

Colors & gradients

Solid colors, linear or radial gradients, transparent backgrounds — design a code that matches your brand.

Unique dot shapes

Six dot styles and custom corner designs let you create a QR code that stands out from the crowd.

High-res downloads with Pro

A Pro subscription unlocks exports up to 2048 × 2048 px PNG and JPEG, plus infinitely scalable SVG vector files for professional printing.

Private by design

Your QR codes are generated on our servers. For static codes the content is used to draw the image and is not stored afterwards.

No expiration, ever

Static QR codes encode your data directly — once you have downloaded one, it keeps working forever, even if your subscription ends.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about QR codes and QRmint.

Is QRmint free to use?
The generator is free: create unlimited QR codes, customize the colors, shapes, logo and frame, and preview the finished result without paying anything. Downloading the image file requires a QRmint Pro subscription — $9.99 per month or $79 per year — which also includes dynamic QR codes.
Do my QR codes expire?
Static QR codes never expire. Your data is encoded directly inside the code itself, so once you have downloaded the file it keeps working forever — even if this website went offline. Dynamic QR codes are different: they point to a QRmint short link, which keeps redirecting for as long as your Pro subscription is active.
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static QR code stores your data (like a URL) directly in the pattern — once you have the file it never expires and depends on no service. A dynamic QR code points to a short redirect link that you can edit later and track, so it keeps working for as long as the subscription behind it is active. The QRmint generator creates static codes; dynamic codes are part of QRmint Pro.
Can I add my logo to a QR code?
Absolutely. Open the Logo section in the generator, upload your image (PNG, JPG or SVG) and adjust its size. QRmint automatically raises the error correction level so the code stays scannable with your logo in the center.
Which file formats can I download?
You can download your QR code as PNG (best for web and documents), JPEG, or SVG — a vector format that scales to any size without losing quality, ideal for professional printing. All three formats are included with QRmint Pro; designing and previewing your code stays free.
Will my QR code still scan with custom colors and shapes?
Yes, as long as you keep good contrast: use a dark foreground on a light background. Avoid very light foreground colors, and test your code with a phone camera before printing large batches.
What size should I print my QR code?
A good rule of thumb: the code should be at least 2 × 2 cm (0.8 × 0.8 in) for close-range scanning, and roughly 1/10 of the scanning distance — so a code scanned from 1 meter away should be about 10 cm wide. Download the SVG, included with Pro, for perfect quality at any print size.
Is my data private?
Your QR code image is generated on our servers, so the content you encode is sent to us to be drawn. For static QR codes it is used only to produce the image and is not stored afterwards, not attached to your account, and never sold or shared. Dynamic QR codes are different by design: their destination and landing-page content are saved so you can edit and track them, and you can delete them at any time.
