Terms of Service

Last updated: July 26, 2026

Welcome to QRmint. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QRmint website and its QR code generation tool (the "Service"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using QRmint, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the Service. Your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the Terms in effect at that time.

2. Description of the service

QRmint is a free online tool for generating static QR codes. You can create QR codes for websites, plain text, email, SMS, phone calls, WhatsApp, WiFi networks, contact cards, social profiles and events, customize their appearance, and download them in PNG, SVG or JPEG format.

3. Acceptable use

You are solely responsible for the content you choose to encode in a QR code and for how you use and distribute the resulting codes. When using the Service, you agree not to create or distribute QR codes that:

We reserve the right to restrict access to the Service for anyone we reasonably believe is violating these rules.

4. Intellectual property

The QR codes you generate with QRmint belong to you. You may use them freely for personal or commercial purposes, without attribution and without paying any fee.

The QRmint website itself — including its name, logo, design, text, graphics and underlying code — is the property of QRmint and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or redistribute any part of the website without prior written permission, except as permitted for normal use of the Service.

If you upload a logo or other image to embed in a QR code, you confirm that you own the rights to that image or have permission to use it.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at all times, or that every generated QR code will be readable by every scanning device in every condition. Scannability depends on factors outside our control, such as color contrast, print size, print quality, surface material and the camera used.

Important: always test your QR code with several devices before printing it in large quantities or using it in a commercial campaign.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QRmint and its owner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost revenue, printing costs, loss of data or loss of goodwill — arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

This includes, without limitation, damages resulting from QR codes that fail to scan, from errors in the data you entered, or from the actions of third parties who scan or misuse codes you have distributed. Your sole and exclusive remedy for any dissatisfaction with the Service is to stop using it.

7. Advertising

QRmint is funded by advertising. The website displays advertisements served by third-party advertising networks. These third parties may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or for the products and services they promote; any dealings you have with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the Service or in applicable law. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected on this page, and your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the country in which the site owner is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

10. Contact

If you have any questions about these Terms of Service, please contact us at contact@yourdomain.com or through our contact page.
