Welcome to QRmint ("we", "us", or "our"). QRmint is a free online QR code generator that lets you create custom QR codes for websites, WiFi networks, contact cards, WhatsApp, email and more — directly in your browser.

We take your privacy seriously, and we built QRmint so that it needs as little of your data as possible to work. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use our website, how any collected information is used, and the choices you have. By using QRmint, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data we do NOT collect

Unlike many online tools, QRmint generates your QR codes entirely within your own browser using JavaScript running on your device. This means:

• The text, links, WiFi network names and passwords, phone numbers, email addresses, contact details and any other content you type into the generator are never transmitted to our servers.
• We do not store, log, read or share the content of the QR codes you create.
• Logos or images you upload for your QR code are processed locally on your device and are never uploaded anywhere.
• We do not require an account, registration, name or email address to use the generator.

In short: the data inside your QR codes belongs to you, stays with you, and we never see it.

3. Cookies and advertising

QRmint is free to use because the site displays advertising. Ads on this website are served by Google AdSense, an advertising service provided by Google.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites on the Internet.
• Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites.

These cookies are set and read by the advertising providers, not by QRmint, and are governed by their own privacy policies. You can also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; the QR code generator itself will continue to work normally without them.

4. Log data

Like virtually every website, the server that hosts QRmint may automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and version (user agent), the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the referring page. This information is collected by the hosting infrastructure for security, abuse prevention and technical troubleshooting purposes. It is not linked to the content of any QR code you create, and it is not used to personally identify you.

5. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

6. Children's privacy

QRmint is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since our generator works without accounts and without collecting personal data, we do not expect to receive such information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
